General Information
What requirements do I need for a helicopter flight?
No special requirements are needed. Our flights are smooth, gentle, and comfortable—comparable to an elevator ride, just with a far better view of the Dolomites.
When can helicopter flights take place?
In principle, our flights can operate every day. Depending on the tour, a minimum number of passengers may be required (as stated in the tour description). If the minimum isn’t met, we’ll try to combine additional guests for your preferred date.
Do flights operate in all weather?
We fly only in flyable conditions—good visibility, no strong wind or rain. If the weather doesn’t cooperate, your flight will be rescheduled free of charge. Safety and your experience always come first.
How can we communicate on board?
Throughout the flight, all passengers are connected with each other and the pilot via a modern intercom system. You can chat, ask questions, and hear interesting facts about the region and the Dolomites.
Which helicopters do you use?
We fly modern Airbus helicopters, models H130 and H125 B3/B3e—offering top safety, cutting-edge tech, and maximum comfort. Perfect for sightseeing, transfers, and exclusive experiences over the Dolomites.
How many people can fly?
Capacity varies by model:
-
Airbus H125: up to 5 passengers
-
Airbus H130: up to 7 passengers
Ideal for couples, families, or small groups.
Can children fly?
Yes! Children under 2 years may fly on a parent’s lap (by prior arrangement). From age 2, each child needs their own seat. What matters most is that the child feels comfortable—then everyone will enjoy the experience.
What can I bring?
For safety, only items permitted on regular passenger flights may be carried. Please do not bring dangerous or loose objects on board.
What should I wear?
We recommend comfortable, weather-appropriate clothing. Cabin temperatures are similar to a car, so no special equipment is required.
May I take photos or video?
Absolutely! You may photograph and film throughout the flight. The Dolomite views are breathtaking—just don’t forget to enjoy the moment too.
How do I book?
Book online on our website or by phone. The earlier you reserve, the better your chances of your preferred time—though last-minute bookings are often possible.
What payment methods do you accept?
Secure, convenient options:
-
Credit card (Mastercard, VISA)
-
PayPal
-
Sofort/instant transfer or SEPA prepayment
-
Cash (for departures from our base)
Can I book a private flight for special occasions?
Absolutely. Proposal, wedding, birthday, or corporate event—we tailor the flight to your wishes. Departure point, route, and duration are fully flexible.
Are intermediate landings possible?
Yes, on request. We can plan touchdowns—for an aperitif, a gourmet stop at a mountain hut, or a brief photo stop in the heart of the Dolomites. Please mention this when booking.
Can I choose my own route?
For private flights, you may co-design the route, provided it doesn’t cross no-fly zones. Our experienced pilots will advise you and show you the most spectacular itineraries in South Tyrol.
What is the maximum weight per person?
The maximum weight per seat is 150 kg, ensuring optimal safety and balance during the flight.
Can I give a helicopter flight as a gift?
Yes—of course! A helicopter flight is a perfect gift for any occasion. Gift vouchers can be ordered directly online.
What if I feel sick or have a fear of heights?
Don’t worry—our flights are very stable and smooth. Motion sickness is rare, and even guests with mild vertigo usually feel comfortable thanks to the clear view to the horizon and stable visual references.
